Fabric type, thickness, tension, stitching, cup molding pressure, and the width and placement of tapes all affect the final result down to the millimeter. Changing just one factor risked upsetting the delicate balance of comfort, shaping, and seamlessness. Undeterred by setbacks, we repeatedly fine-tuned the design to converge on a single point of perfection.
